To Ba'Shlom O Sawmo Dakhyo هلمّ بسلامٍ أيّها الصوم الطاهر

ܬܳܐ ܒܰܫܠܳܡ ܐܳܘ ܨܰܘܡܳܐ ܕܰܟܝܳܐ

هلمَّ بسلامٍ أيُّها الصومُ الطاهرApproach in peace, O holy LentVenez en paix, ô Carême sacréTo ba’shlom o sawmo dakhyo

ܛܽܘܒܰܘܗܝ ܠܰܐܝܢܳܐ ܕܰܐܚܒܳܟ ܗܘܐ

طوبى لمَنْ أحبَّكَBlessed are those who love youBienheureux ceux qui t’aimentToubaw la’yno da’hbokh wo

ܘܰܐܪܟܶܢ ܟܰܬܦܶܗ ܘܰܦܠܰܚ ܒܳܟ

وانكَبَّ عليكَ وعَمِلَ بكَAnd lean upon you and work with youEt se penchent sur toi et travaillent avec toiWarken katfeh wa’flah bokh

ܐܺܝܡܳܡܶܐ ܘܠܰܝܠܳܘܬܳܐ

ليلًا ونهارًاNight and dayNuit et jourImomé w’laylawoto

ܛܽܘܒܰܘܗܝ ܠܰܐܝܢܳܐ ܕܰܒܨܳܘܡܶܗ

طوبى لمَنْ بصومِهِBlessed are those who fastBienheureux ceux qui jeûnentToubaw la’yno da’bsawmeh

ܫܦܰܪ ܠܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܟܽܠ ܝܰܘܡܰܘܗܝ

حسُنَ لدى اللهِ جميعَ أيّامِهFavorable in the eyes of God all their daysFavorables aux yeux de Dieu tous leurs joursShfar l’Aloho kol yawmaw

ܕܗܳܘܶܐ ܚܰܒܪܳܐ ܠܨܰܝܳܡܶܐ

إذ يصيرُ رفيقًا للصائمينWhen they become companions of the fastersQuand ils deviennent compagnons des jeûneursD’howé habro l’sayomé

ܕܰܦܠܰܚܘ ܡܶܢ ܨܰܦܪܳܐ ܠܪܰܡܫܳܐ

الّذين جاهدُوا من الصباحِ حتّى المساءThose who strive from morning until eveningCeux qui s’efforcent du matin jusqu’au soirDa’flahou men safro l’ramsho

ܘܥܰܡܗܽܘܢ ܝܳܪܶܬ ܡܰܠܟܽܘܬܳܐ

ومعهُم يرِثُ الملكوتAnd with them, they inherit the kingdomEt avec eux, ils héritent du royaumeW’amhoun yoret malkouto

ܐܰܪ̈ܒܥܺܝܢ ܝܰܘ̈ܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܫ̣ܠܶܡ ܠܰܢ

لأربعينَ يومًا سلَّمَناFor forty days, delivered unto usPendant quarante jours, livrés à nousArb’in yawmin ashlem lan

ܨܰܘܡܳܐ ܕܰܟܝܳܐ ܦܳܪܽܘܩܰܢ

مخلّصُنا الصومَ الطاهرOur savior, the pure fastNotre sauveur, le jeûne purSawmo dakhyo porouqan

ܕܰܒܗܽܘܢ ܢܶܨܘܡ ܕܰܟܝܳܐܝܬ

لكيمَا نصومَ فيها بالنقاءSo that we may fast therein with purityAfin que nous puissions jeûner avec puretéDa’bhoun nesoum dakhyoit

ܘܢܶܙܟܶܐ ܠܒܺܝܫܳܐ ܕܰܙܟܳܐ ܠܰܢ

ونقهرَ الشرّيرَ الّذي غلبَناAnd we overcome the evil that has defeated usEt nous vainquons le mal qui nous a vaincusW’nezké l’bisho da’zko lan

ܘܰܐܪ̈ܒܥܺܝܢ ܣܳܗ̈ܕܶܐ ܛܽܘ̈ܒܳܢܶܐ

وأربعينَ شهيدًا طوباويًّاAnd forty blessed martyrsEt quarante martyrs bénisWarb’in sohdé touboné

ܝܰܗ̱ܒܠܰܢ ܕܰܒܗܽܘܢ ܢܶܬܓܰܘܰܣ

أعطانا أيضًا لكيما نلتجئَ إليهمAlso gave us, that we may seek refuge with themNous a également donnés, afin que nous nous réfugions auprès d’euxYablan da’bhoun netgawas

ܘܰܢܥܰܕܥܶܕ ܠܰܚܠܽܘܠܰܝܺ̈ܗܘܢ

ونُعيِّدَ أعراسَهُمAnd we celebrate their feastsEt nous célébrons leurs fêtesWa’n’ad’ed la’hloulayhoun

ܒܗܰܝܡܳܢܽܘܬܳܐ ܕܰܫܪܳܪܳܐ

بالإيمانِ الحقّWith true faithAvec la vraie foiB’haymonouto da’shroro

ܘܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܙܡܺܝܢܶܐ ܒܟܶܢܫܰܝܺ̈ܗܽܘܢ

ونُصبحَ مدعوّينَ في جموعِهِمAnd become invited into their gatheringsEt devenons invités dans leurs assembléesW’nehwé zminé b’kenshayhoun
